Secret Emergence: In 1989 shortly after reading Unlimited Power by Anthony Robbins I made the decision to stop playing basketball and start playing golf. I wasn’t very good but after playing everyday within 6 months I was playing on the High School Golf team as a #1 slot player and team captain. I earned my way to the New York State Championship, participated on 2 undefeated seasons and before graduation was offered a golf scholarship to play at West Virgina Wesleyan.
School, Career: Shortly after making my way to West Virginia, I realized the location wasn’t for me even with success like shooting 6 under in the first round of the 2 round 9 hole qualifier I made the decision to attended The Golf Academy of The South, in Orlando, Florida. There, I majored in golf resort management with a focus on golf instruction but by the time I graduated in December 1993 I had already decided that I wanted to be a golf coach. It was an easy decision for I was already working with Tony Robbins. In the following years, I worked in traditional golf industry jobs and my first employer Quaker Ridge Golf Club helped lay the possibility and foundation for what I am today.
Shortly before Sept 11, 2001, I said good bye to the endless winters of New York and moved to Naples, Florida to say hello to the eternal summer. Once in Florida I passed my PAT and completed USGTF golf teacher certification. In November 2001, I started working for Crown Colony a start up country club, where I helped manage and run the day to day operations for 7 successful years and I left on good terms one week prior to Las Vegas PGA show and the unveiling of The Answer training aid I co-developed.
Life: I reside in Naples, Florida and I am lucky to have the best canine companion a guy could ask for in Mister Buddha, a black Labrador-pit-beagle mix that found me on the golf course and I adopted legally in December 2005.
This site: I have owned and released several domains since 1994. My first few manifestations in front page served as a beacon and communication vehicle to show case my creative design and golf services.
All in the family: I own and operate Confident Golf which delivers personalized golf coaching on a by-request basis.
